The Indian Navy is preferred by the protection of the
country. But there is a shortage of employees. At present there are about
15,000 posts in the Navy. Presents total posts are 71,651 in sailor posts
already to serve employees 56,835 done in navy but remaining posts are ready to
recruitment. Officers were 10,393 for 11,827 people. 1434 containers.These jobs can be divided into two. The first is the sailor entry posts that give opportunity to the 10th class and 10+2. The second one is officer entry posts.
Sailor
Artificial apprentice (AA) in this section, Senior secondary
recruitment (SSR), Metric recruitment (MR), Musician, Sports are jobs. Their
qualifications and other details are like this:
Metric recruitment
(MR):
10th class students can be given this. Under this method chef, steward and hygienist get jobs. People aged 17 to 21 are eligible.

Senior secondary
recruitment (SSR):
Intermediate Mathematics, along with Physics – chemistry/ biology/ computer science - Some of them have read a one subject eligible for SSR. People aged 17 to 21 are eligible.

Artificial apprentice
(AA):
Intermediate Mathematics, along with Physics – chemistry/
biology/ computer science Must have read one subjects. For this subjects
minimum 60% marks achievement is mandatory. The people aged 17 to 20 are
eligible.
Musicians:
Musicians are selected to work in the Navy band. Musical
instruments should be mastered. 10th class candidates are eligible. Aged
people 17 to 25 are eligible. Recruitment through musical competence, physical
and medical tests.
Sports quota entry:
You can join directly for 10th class, For any
sports/ events People with expertise will be given opportunity.
MR, SSR, AA, before jobs conduct exam. Those who qualify
persons can eligible for physical fitness tests. For this can participate
successfully done after medical test are selected.
10 + 2 technical entry
Candidates selected under this program can study the
engineering education for four years in Electronic and Communication or
Mechanical Branch at Naval Academy in Kerala. B.Tech graduation and engineer
duties in Navy can soon be performed in sub-lieutenant status. Intermediate
with 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and at least 50% marks in
Class X or Inter English. Also must be qualified in the JEE Main.
University Entry Scheme
BE / B.tech students are selected by campus interviews in
this system. Students in the seventh semester are selected. Students in the
seventh semester will be given opportunity.
It is essential to have at least 60 percent marks up to fifth semester. The
recruitment of posts and the Short Service Commission is in both ways. The
Service Selection Board interviews those who are selected in the campus. Announcements
are made annually in June or July.
For women….
Women are eligible for some posts in the Navy. However, they
are taken into a short commission system. For a maximum period of 14 years. ATC,
Observer, Law, Logistic, Education, Naval Architecture, Pilot, Navel Armaments
Inspectorate posts can be made by women. Many of these jobs are available to
those who have read BE/ B.tech of the respective brands.
